Situated in close proximity to Vilnius’ main commercial center, the terrain assumes a distinctive triangular shape, bordered by streets on two of its sides. The mixed-use building, which includes an underground ga- rage, boasts a ground floor with lofty ceilings intended for commercial activities, while the upper floors are dedicated to residential purposes. Taking into account the plot’s unique characteristics, the building has been thoughtfully designed to optimize the internal space by employing a composition of volumes or “cubes” that rest upon a more regular ground floor, thus creating big terraces for the apartments. The two sec- tions of the building are visually distinguished by their cladding materi- als: the base is adorned with dark, solid klinker material, while the res- idential upper floors feature warm-colored bricks and wooden finishes.
